Weed Control in Rice

In this video, Jason Norsworthy discusses weed management strategies in Arkansas rice production. With stops at the Pine Tree Research Station and the Rice Research and Extension Center, shows the effects of various herbicides against some of Arkansas’ most tough-to-manage weeds in rice.

Norsworthy is a Distinguished Professor of Weed Science in the Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences. He conducts weed management research, with an emphasis on innovative research that will lead to a reduction in herbicide reliance, expenditures and usage, and improve weed management efficiency in crops in Arkansas.
