Trent Roberts offers some recommendations for optimizing soil fertility in rice production. In this video, Roberts will discuss some strategies for optimizing potassium, nitrogen and zinc fertility for rice production.

Roberts is an associate professor of soil fertility and soil testing for the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station and an Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service specialist. He investigates crop response to soil nutrients like nitrogen and potassium and hopes to develop better management strategies for crop production.
