Palmer Amaranth, commonly known as pigweed, is perhaps the most challenging weed problem in Arkansas. In this video Norsworthy discusses the influence of pigweed size on herbicide effectiveness using approved nozzles.

Norsworthy is a Distinguished Professor of weed science in the department of crop, soil, and environmental sciences and the Elms Farming Chair of Weed Science. He conducts weed management research, with an emphasis on innovative research that will lead to a reduction in herbicide reliance, expenditures and usage, and improve weed management efficiency in crops in Arkansas
