Associate professor of soil fertility and soil testing Trent Roberts shares about his latest research on testing the effects of rice variety selection on nutrient uptake. Roberts, who also holds the Chair in Soil Fertility Research for the Division of Agriculture, also discusses the potential effects of hidden hunger and how to reduce its effects through proactive tissue testing. He also discusses the compaction effects of tillage during wet field conditions.
