Raymond Rowland

Professor - Kansas State University|Diagnostic Medicine and Pathobiology

Rowland received a Ph.D. in microbiology in 1989 from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. He was a postdoctoral fellow from 1989 to 1994 at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in the laboratory of arteriviologist, Peter Plagemann. He then joined the faculty at South Dakota State University in Brookings. Rowland received the Pfizer Animal Health Award for Research Excellence in 2007 and is a member of several swine health and infectious disease advisory groups. He joined Kansas State University in 2001.
