The block-chain enabled platform was designed and built by Fujitsu to allow users to interact and settle trades through a permissioned, smart contract solution that integrates buyers, sellers and service providers in the shipping, insurance and inspection sectors. Rice Exchange increases trust, lower risk and delivers cost savings to all participants. Trading on the platform began in September. The company operates globally from Singapore and Switzerland.
