Management of Rice Water Weevil, Rice Stink Bug, Armyworms, and Billbugs in Rice

Extension entomologist Nick Bateman discusses the impact of rice water weevil and rice billbug feeding on rice yields, and cover some management options for these pests with insecticide seed treatments. Dr. Bateman also provides an update on rice stink bug resistance monitoring and the outlook going forward. Finally, he presents on how defoliation impacts yield and the fall armyworm issues in 2021.
